In starting this blog, my aim is to have a place to share my scrapbooking, card making, paintings and photos with friends and rellies. Hopefully it will inspire me to produce more....LOL. Welcome!

Days 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21 & 22

My December Daily has quite a large gap between Day 9 and Day 15 because of my Dad's sudden hospitalisation on Dec 10. I was away staying with my Mum during that time.
Here is day 15....a 6x8 page.

Day 16 has a full 6x8 photo of our tree on the back of the previous page. I am very happy with the bokeh on this one! I also have a divided 6x8 page on the right hand side.

Day 17. A divided 6x8 page about lunch and a movie with a friend.
Day 18. Another visitor for Pop and I made our Christmas pudding. This page is 8.5x11
Day 19. Loved the Christmas lights and display at this house. 8.5x11 page again.
Day 21. I had been at Mum's for a couple of days again. This was my Mum's birthday. A 6x8 divided page.
Day 22. More bokeh....this makes me happy!
I only have 3 days left to do now and will hopefully have them finished early next week.

Days 7,8 & 9

Day 7
Love the view from the dining room early in the morning when the light is so soft and pretty.
We drove into town to do the last of the shopping. I love the Christmas windows at Clifford Gardens. Reminds me of the wonderful Christmas windows we  used to see every year.

The display of Christmas lights in Queens Park was stunning!

December Daily 2013...days 2. 3, 4, &6.

I have started Ali Edwards December Daily again this year. This is my third time and, like last year, I am adding it to the back of this year's Project Life. My PL pages are 12x12 but I am doing December in varying sizes of page protectors to suit whatever I have for any particular day. Also I am not worrying if I miss a day here and there. Already I have missed days 1 and problems no stress!.. I am trying to keep it simple but may come back later to add more embellishments.

Day 2.
Lovely day. I went to my usual Monday beading class but left early as we were taking our son to lunch for his birthday. For both pages today I have used Snap 6x8 protectors.

Day 3.
Some scrapbooking and grocery shopping today. 6x8 Snap protector used again.
Day 4.
A day shopping for Chrissy presents! No photos taken of that so I included a photo of part of our front garden. This is an 8x8 protector. I had to punch a new hole to make it fit.

Day 6.
Debbie's birthday and she left for a week on Bribie Island. My scrapbook room is overflowing with current projects so I have set up a table in the family room for my December Daily. So nice to have it all in one place! The back of the 8x8 from day 4.

week 3

This week I have mostly used some papers from the Amy Tangerine Sketchbook line both in 12x12 and the 6x6 pad. The grey letters were made by a very good and  very clever friend!

week 2

I thought this week would come together a little faster but I decided to embellish more than last it took longer! Never mind, I am retired now so I am supposed to have more time lol. Actually I do have more time but I am finding so many different ways to fill it all up!
This week I have used mostly Seafoam....I bought the digital kit. The right hand side has a 6x8 pocket on the top right side and rather than print some paper from the kit I went looking in my stash for some patterned paper that would go with the kit. I found this Amy Tan paper from the sketchbook collection that was perfect to directly journal on. I have also used my craft robo this time.

Week One

This is my second year doing Project Life and for the first time I am using the divided page protectors. I think I will really enjoy it! This first week has taken me most of the day to do, on and off but I think next week's will be faster to do.
